Rates & Insurance

Rates
If paying privately, $130-$150 per session. If utilizing insurance, your rate would be based on the copay rate and deductible amounts specific to your insurance provider.  All sessions are 50 minutes long.

Flexible Spending, Health Savings Accounts, and Cafeteria Plans
My services are covered by all area flexible spending, health savings accounts, and cafeteria plans. If you have a flexible spending or HSA card, it is possible to pay directly with the card. If, however, your employer does not issues cards, then you'll need to pay for the services up front and then submit a statement to your plan provider for reimbursement.

Insurance Plans
I am paneled with Excellus BCBS, Aetna, and MVP. Other insurance companies may reimburse for my services, but only on an out-of-network basis.

If you would like to check your coverage with your insurance provider, you will want to ask some of the following questions of your insurance provider.

    • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
    • Do you cover Mental Health Counselors in my plan on an out-of-network basis?
    • What is my deductible, if any, and has it been met?
    • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
    • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
    • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

If you do not come to your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session. If we are able to re-schedule for later in the week or if I am able to schedule another client for that time slot you will not be charged for a missed session. If your visits are being submitted for insurance reimbursement and you do not cancel within the 24-hour-period, then you will be required to pay the full fee because insurance companies will not reimburse for missed sessions.
